Wildfires in British Columbia

July 20, 2009

Wildfires in British Columbia are forcing thousands of residents to leave their homes or be prepared to leave on short notice.  Naturally, businesses are also affected either by proximity to the blazes or by employees needing to tend to family and personal property.

Employers and employees who have Shepell·fgi’s EAP are reminded that support is available 24/7 through the toll-free number provided to them.  If you are uncertain of your organization’s toll-free EAP number, please go to the Contact Your EAP page.

If you currently don’t have an EAP with Shepell·fgi, you may call 1-800-461-9722 for more information about how we can help.

The links below lead to documents that outline what individuals can to do cope with the situation and manage the subsequent stress and anxiety.
