Until now, Simon and his wife Beth have been managing pretty well financially-they've been able to pay all the bills and have money left over to spend on the kids. Recently though, Simon's hours were cut back at work and budgeting has become a real challenge. They're just able to scrape by and, after paying for the mortgage, car and groceries, there isn't much money for the little luxuries they used to enjoy. And arguments over financial priorities have put a real strain on his relationship with Beth.
