Channelling change: Healthy Hints at Every Life Stage

Plan-It Parent

Last year, my spouse and I welcomed our son into this world. Needless to say we were thrilled. Parenting has been so much more rewarding and challenging than we could have ever imagined. Nearly eight months has passed since I went on maternity leave and I'm about to go back to work. My partner, on the other hand, is about to take four months of paternity leave to be with the baby. Both of us are nervous: my mate is worried about getting out of the work loop and I'm feeling anxious and guilty about the prospect splitting my time between my job and motherhood. Help!
